A child’s progress depends greatly on a synergistic partnership between the school and the parents. Keeping this in mind, GGIS teachers visit each and every child’s home once a year to understand the child’s home environment in greater depth. This, in turn, enables the teacher to understand the student’s learning methods, family environment and be more empathetic towards them.
Many home visits have completely changed our perception of the students and we have been blown over by the love the parent community shows when we take this extra step to reach out to them.
