Once a year, our homeroom teachers make visits to each of their students’ homes, a unique form of interaction that allows teachers to gain an insight into the sort of environment and background that each child comes from, helping the teacher understand each learner’s home-atmosphere in ways that wouldn’t be possible through normal PTMs, allowing our educators to gain a heightened sense of both sympathy and empathy for each student.
