GEMS Genesis International School since last two years has been instrumental in bringing World Forum foundation International Mud day celebrations to city of Ahmedabad.
Our school children have received pleasure of enjoying the glorious earth and celebrating Mother Nature.
This is the 3rd year we successfully celebrated MUD DAY in our school premises, with participation of more then 160 students and teachers. We extended the celebrations to other pre-schools as well, more than 70 children and parents participated from other pre-schools.
The Mud day is a day for children because they connect directly with the amazing earth beneath us. In the process they do get dirty, messy and muddy. Our purpose behind this was to bring the students closer to nature and learn to enjoy the incredible things of nature, that we are naturally blessed with. The students were involved in various activities including making mud toys, mud painting, wiggly worm play and many more. The Early Childhood Association, an established body on child development supports Mud Day.
It was a truly invigorating experience and our children experienced the most magical way of celebrating the student’s life.
