Dear Children,
I can’t wait enough for tomorrow. Tomorrow, YOU shall come back. Our school will come alive. The school has missed you. We have missed you. Sorely missed you.
But tomorrow, your smiles and cheers and voices shall bring it back to life. Your hugs and stories will remind us of how lucky we are to be a part of your life. With new books and bags and lunch boxes, we will talk endlessly of the vacation we had and then we shall begin our journey.
A journey that shall entail exploration and failures and immense amount of learning. But please remember, we value you much more than anything you can prove on paper. Your existence and the joyfulness it brings is much more important than what we can teach. We shall learn a lot from you this year.
And I look forward to the roller coaster ride!
